Charles Sthreshley has built his reputation as America's foremost designer of concrete art furniture. David McFadden, Chief Curator at the American Crafts Museum, NY acknowledges that Sthreshley's table, Laptex, is a winner. Laptex is a copper colored three legged laptop computer table with a kidney shaped top.
McFadden awarded Sthreshley a Merit Award at Crafts National held at Penn State University, June 5 through July 21, 2001. The award was presented at a reception on Friday, June 22 at the University's Zoller Gallery,101 Visual Arts Building, Penn State University, PA.
